Things Momo do Over the Weekend

we had weekly trip to the grandpawrents house this weekend, but Jack wasn't there, his dad had to work so they didn't come this weekend.

Even though Momo is a cat he still plays with and looks forward to spending time with Jack.

So while Sadie spent her Saturday hang out with her family and when Mo wasn't pouncing on the grandpawrent's kitten, Button, He found ways to amuse himself.

He had a lot of fun playing with a crazy bounce ball that makes a funny noise every time it moves.

Then he also though it was funny to look out the back door window with his dad when we had Sadie out side.

We had a cold rainy weekend with a lot of strong winds, so when Sadie and I where outside and with the leaves and stuff blowing in the wind, Momo thought it was really funny .

The Weekend Started Off Good

Sadie thought her weekend started off good.

On Saturday she went to her grand pawrence's house and had a great time playing with Jack, Momo and Button and it was also a day full of belly rubs.

But then Sunday came and Sunday was the day she went to get her nails done.

Sadie refers to getting her nails trimmed as torture.

Sadie says " She thinks getting your nails done really stinks !! "

Our Weekend

The weather was soooooo much better this weekend, we almost got to 45 degrees here wich is a lot warmer than the teens we have been having.

Sadie and Momo where so happy with the warmer weather that they where smiling the whole weekend.

With Momo being is such a good mood, he wanted to play some more than usual but Button (hes playmate at my parent's house) had just had surgery on Monday.

Although she had a lot of penned up energy and wanted to play, she still had stitches from whowhoectomy so the playing had to be kept to a minimum.

Sadie got her Snuggie that her grandma got her for Christmas back. ( it had to be send back because it was to big.)

Sadie said ( The Snuggie is going to be a great thing to have when she gets a bath. Instead of curling up in a blankie after her bath she can put her Snuggie on and then curl up in a blanket.)

A Cold Winter Saturday

It was cold on Saturday and my parents live on the top of a mountain which made it a little colder. But that didn't stop Sadie and Jack from playing.

Since it is a little colder there they have a little more snow too.

Sadie doesn't usually like the snow much, but since this year we made her coat and it fits her better, she wants to play in the snow. So Sadie and Jack went outside to romp and play in the snow.

Although I have to admit I never cared much for the cold, but it is nice to see Sadie and Jack have some fun.

An Extra Long Weekend

We had a long weekend.

On Thursday Jack came for a sleep over.

Sadie was talking to Jack about how she needed to have a pawdicure .

Although neither Jack our Sadie like to have their nails done, they decided to have them done on Friday.

Since Sadie goes to a popular pet store to get her pawdicures, the dogs decided to walk around the store after they got their pawdicures and they made a new friend to.

So they said "Hi" to their new friend and did the usual sniffing thing.

Saturday afternoon was the usual play time for Jack, Momo and Sadie.

Saturday night was Halloween.

And then after all of that Sadie was Asking "If she could go home and go to sleep?"

Then Sunday was a day to relax and watch football and Sadie used the day to rest.

A Rainy Fall Day

We had a rainy fall Saturday.

After Sadie, Jack and Momo spent a short time playing, they got sleepy.

Sadie laid down by her dad for a nap.

Jack snuggled next to me.

And the little Mo Man decided the rug on the floor looked good for a nap.

Even though Buttons doesn't play with the dogs like Momo does, the rainy day even made her sleepy.

Sadie wanted to take a picture of all the wet leaves from her point of view.

Sadie said " she wanted to give you a view of what the leaves look like when you have short little legs."

She said " She likes the leaves better when they are on the ground, but she likes the leaves even more when they are dry , because she can run and jump in them and her nose doesn't get wet when she sniffs them."

A Strange Saturday

We went to my parent's house, just like any other Saturday.

But when we got there, what was left of the flowers looked like this.

Sadie Asked " Is that marshmallow on the flowers ?"

So Sadie did some snooper vising....

She said " It was cold and white and it didn't have much of a smell."

Then her paws started to get cold and she said said "It's SNOW??!!"

So we headed in the house where it was warm. (Sadie doesn't like when it is cold)

We do live in North East PA and do get snow, but not this early in the year.

That's what made it so strange.

After Jack got there and confirmed that the white stuff outside was really SNOW, it was play time.

Jack got up on the couch , he was looking all around.

Sadie discovered that Momo was playing a game of chance with Jack.

Jack was surprised to find Momo got better at the game of chase.

It snowed all day at my parent's house.

It snowed most of the weekend.

Its supposed to snow today.

The snow didn't stick to the roads, but it did build up on the trees and with the leaves still on the trees a lot of branches broke off the trees.

It's supposed to return to normal temperature latter in the week.

But it was still strange to see it snow so early in the year.

Our Saturday Adventure

We went to my parent"s house, like we usually do on Saturday.

Sadie had a nice visit with her grandparents.

Sadie says " She loves to sit on her granddad's lap."

Then after Jack got there and they played a little bit, it was time to have something to eat.

And event though I didn't get a picture of it, Momo was having a bite to eat with the pack.

And yes it was dog food he was eating.

Momo says " He likes the meaty flavor."

After every body ate it was play time again.

And while the other cats where off doing cat things, Momo played with the dogs.

Momo says " Dogs play the I got your tail game the best."

He even taught the game to Jack.

Sadie watched over Momo the whole time too, because Jack never played the I got your tail game with a kitten before.

After all of the playing and running with the dogs The Mo Man was tired and needed to take a nap, so he headed in to the arms of a human for his nap.

Momo might play hard like a dog, but he still needs to have his cat naps.

While Sadie watched over her kitten the whole time until she finally took a nap too.

Saturday Adventure

Our Saturday adventure was pretty relaxing this weekend.

My brother was a little under the weather this weekend, so Jack wasn't at my parent's house this weekend.

So Sadie had the grandparents all to herself.

She took advantage of too, all the cuddles were hers, and the treats too.

Sadie noticed somethings were a little different on our way to the grandparents.

So in between the cuddles and treats we went outside to take some pictures.

The leaves are starting to change colors, and Sadie took notice to this.

Sadie said when the leaves fall to the ground, she is going to take a better sniff at them .

But for now she will have to just look at them on the trees.

Saturday Adventures

Sadie and Jack had their usual Saturday adventure, but they were all inside yesterday.

Sadie and Jack played inside all day, because it was rainy and a bit chilly out.

(Sadie doesn't like the rain, she thinks it will ruin her hair do.)

This week was a little different though.

My husband and I were both born in September, and my mother in law got us a little video recorder thing, for our birthdays.

So Sadie right away said that "she wanted to be a movie star."

So I made a little video clip of Sadie and Jack playing on the couch.

We had a Good Saturday

It was Saturday, so Sadie asked if we were going to the grandparent's house.

She gets so excited. ( she knows Jack might be there)

After we arrived at the grandparent's house, Sadie had to try some of Jack's food.

(she loves stealing Jack's food)

After they ate, Jack played ball.

Sadie watched while she laid on the couch with her dad.

(well kinda on his feet)

Jack decided a treat was a good idea.

Sadie heard the crinkle of the treat bag, and come running.

They also did so much running and playing, by the time we left, Sadie decided she needed a little nap.

Back to a normal Saturday

Our Saturday was back to normal!

Sadie was eagerly waiting for Jack to arrive at their grandparent's house.

And he came!

Sadie and Jack were so happy to have their Saturday back to normal, that almost the whole day was filled with the sound of little doggie paws running through out the whole house.

They played and then played some more.

Until Sadie got another new Wubba, then Sadie had to take some alone time with it as Jack watch, but Sadie wasn't going to share.

No matter how much Jack gave her a nudge, she wasn't sharing.

( the Wubba doesn't squeak already)

Two Doxies

Yeah,we saw Jack this weekend! In fact he is still here. My brother and his wife went on a day trip today, so Jack came for a sleep over again. Sadie was so excited to see him! We had a night of nonstop playing! I didn't get many photos because, I spent a lot of time playing with them. It was so fun, by the time bed time came,Sadie and Jack were so tired out, the both got in there kennels and fell right to sleep.( this is a big deal, because Jack doesn't sleep in his kennel when he is at home.) Jack was up early to go out, but when I brought him back in, I let Sadie out of her kennel(she likes to snuggle on the bed when she gets up.)and I had two doxies playing and snuggling on the bed. We are so happy so see Jack again, we miss him when he's not around and Sadie says she wants him to stay forever. Oh, and Maxx even Joined in the fun and games and played awhile with the two dogs!

Sadie Is So Spoild

Well let me start off by saying, my brother had to work again this weekend and it was another Jack less Saturday. And without Jack, Sadie was the only grandpup at my parents house again. So Sadie gets what ever she wants.( it seems)She even got her own chair on Saturday. She sat in her own chair, and looked at every body as they were talking.( just like she was listening and wanted to join in the conversation.) At one point Sadie even got up in to stake her claim on my mother's favorite chair, after my mom got up to do something, and my mother let her have the chair. (Sadie got out of her own to claim my mother chair) Hows that for a spoiled little dog.But I think Sadie is really missing Jack. If he was there Sadie would be playing with him, and not sitting on a chair. Jack is like that cousin,you know the one that your really close to and do everything with, so maybe my mom is just helping her deal with not having Jack around.

Things to do at the Grandparents House without Jack

we had another Saturday without Jack, (for Sadie its like not seeing your favorite cousin) but she is learning that there and other things to do other then playing with Jack. One of my older post was about Midnight. Midnight is my parent's cat.She doesn't like to play with the dogs when they are together, but played quite a bit with Sadie this week.

And then when we went outside we had a visit from our old friend Mr. Chippy. He was up to his usual games.

Then we took it easy, and watched the parachutes again. We took this picture, because some of our Friends said they never saw this before. I grew up with sights like this in my backyard. (sorry its not a better picture)

No Jack

This Saturday we went to my parents. (like we always do) Sadie always looks forward to seeing ever body and playing with Jack. But my brother had to work this Saturday and didn't come,so that meant Jack didn't come either. Sadie did how ever enjoy not having to share my parents with him.

So without Jack there, Sadie was looking for something to do(after she visited with every body and played with her toy)so I put her Cooley bandanna on and we went outside.

My parents live by a small airport that has parachuting services. Sadie is so amused with that, she sits watching them jump out of the air plane and watches them until they are out of sight.(you can even hear them when they yell to each other)

Saturday

After we got to my parents, and Sadie saw Jack,and the not getting a biscuit thing was forgotten about and the playing began.

They played inside and out too.

They played the whole day,until Sadie saw my aunt,who lives just next door to my parents and she hasn't seen her for a couple of weeks. So Sadie had to go see the aunt,(she loves my aunt) while Jack went for a drink and took a rest.

Saturday Adventures with Mr Chippy

This Saturday was the 4th (I hope everyone had a good time) so our visit at my parent was also our 4 of July celebration, with the usual hot dog and hamburgers, Sadie had her own company though. Over the past few months Sadie has made a few new Friends. It started with a one chipmunk and now has grown to what seems to be a family of chippies. My parent don't have a fence around their yard, so Sadie and Jack have to stay on their leashes, and when Sadie is outside the chippies all seem to play a game with her. The chippies, it seems will all take turns running a round Sadie, then one by one they will all try to see how close they can get to her. Sometimes Sadie really get involved in the game to by chasing them , but I try to keep some distance between the chipmunks and her because I don't want the chippies to get hurt and I don't know if the chipmunks carry any diseases (they do live out side with no one to take care of them) .Sadie is up on all of her shots and even gets the vaccine for lime disease (you never know where a tick could be hiding) ,but prevention is the best medicine.
