Sadie's Presents

Sadie wanted to show you her new presents that she got for her birthday.

She got some homemade sweet potato treats and a few new toys.

My parents live by the Dog.com outlet store, so she got her gifts early.

She really went crazy over this new Wubba friend we found at Dog .com.

Its a Wubba with a fox face.

Sadie says "She loves it!".

And Sadie also said " She can hardly wait to see what Santa Paws brings".

Sadie's Hidden Obsession

Sadie has a hidden obsession, she loves cat toys!

You see we had Maxx before Sadie came to live with us, and of course Maxx had toys.

But Maxx had a special place for her toys.

And now that Momo lives with us, with him being a little kitten, his toys are all over the place.

Sadie says " If there is a toy on the floor it has to be hers."

So Sadie now spends a lot of her time playing with cat toys.

( Her Wubba is still her favorite toy though)

She says " She likes the ones with the bells om them."

Sadie also asks "Why does cat nip have an affect on cats and not on her?"

I tell her because it is for cats, but I really don't know.

Sadie didn't want to tell her dog friends that she plays with cat toys, But I told her they would understand a toy is a toy even if it is made for a cat.

Oh and do you remember when Sadie went shopping for a gift for Momo the night before he came home, Sadie says The toy she bought for Momo is now hers."

Still has the New Wubba Smell

Sadie say "I love that new Wubba smell!"

Yes Sadie needed a new Wubba again, she plays so much with her Wubbas that they get all chewed up.

She says she doesn't know how they get chewed, all she does is squeak them when she plays with them.

I was online the other day and found some scary stuff about dog toys containing a lot of dangerous chemicals.

Sadie was relieved to hear her Wubbas are safe though.

Healthystuff.org tested a few dog things for the chemicals, like bed, toys, and tennis balls.

So check this site to see if your toys are safe.

But anyway Sadie found out her Wubba is safe.

So she come up with her new Wubba dance.

And just in case your keeping count of the Wubbas, I think this is number four.

Repiaring Toys

As I said before , Sadie has a few favorite toys that she really likes to play with, and you can always tell those ones.

We call this one her surgery monkey, because when we had Sadie spayed, we got this for her as a present that was waiting for her when she came home form the vet. Sadie had never spent a night away from us before.(at least after she came to live with us)

If you look closely at the picture, you can see that I have to do a lot of repairs to it. In fact I just got done sewing it now. I try to do this with all of her favorite toys, because when I go back to the store to get her a replacement, I can never find one. I'm not every good at the sewing thing, but Sadie doesn't mind, my work may not be pretty, but at least she has her favorite toys back.

Sadie's Light Toy

Don't you just love it when you get that look. That look that's so intense, so focused. My brother(Jack and Brandy's owner and yes they got one to) just got Sadie a new toy this week. A little bone that is a laser toy. When you shine the light on the floor she goes crazy chasing it all over the house. Maxx even loves it, she come jumping around the corner to catch it, then she runs around with Sadie trying to catch it. Its so fun to watch them while they play and get a lot of exercise to.
