Your fountain.....oh we have one of those too...several months ago we notices 'fishies' too. Mom is a germaholic and clean freak...she was completely grossed out by the things floating. She had been leaving my water fountain running for 2 days then changing it. She took my it apart and was surprised how easy it was. She found 'stuff' growing under the pump. Now it is clean as a whistle and she empties the water out every night to let it dry out. No more 'fishes'!!
