This is cousin Jack in the snow at his house yesterday morning about 7:00 in the AM.
Jack is such a trooper, he doesn't let little things like snow bother him even though he's not a fan of it either.
But then there are snow storms like the one we had yesterday, we know places to our south have been getting hammered with snow this year.
But we got over a foot of snow in our back yard and some places in our area got over 2 feet with in less that a 24 hour period, it was snowing at a rate of over two inches an hour most of the day here.
Our local news stations have dubbed this storm February Furry and at sometimes referred to it as a blizzard.
We had a lot of roads closed yesterday like interstate 81 was closed from the interstate 80 junction (which is by Jack's house) to the Maryland boarder until sometime last night,so how is a small dog suppose to get around if the humans can't even get around.
We are sure all the ski resorts in the area were happy with the snow once the roads were opened, but we are just saying when your legs are only three inches long its hard to get around and Sadie said " She doesn't know how to ski anyway but if it made it easier to get around in the snow, she would learn how to ski".
Brrr! Makes me glad I'm in Florida though we've had freezing weather lately. I used to live in Tennessee and as beautiful as the snow is I really don't miss that part of my growing up.
ReplyDeleteHey Sadie Lady, guess what... your blog popped up speedy quick the very furst time today. Go figuer.
ReplyDeleteSorry the snow monster got to you too. When do you think it will ever melt away???? August 87th or something???
Hi Sadie,
ReplyDeleteWe actually like the snow cause this is the first time we have ever seen any! But Star keeps sinking deeper and deeper each time she goes out to peepee. We may have to get her a porta potty.
Luv you bunches and happy Valentine's Day!

Sadie mom says there should be a rule...the snow in any particular yard should not be too deep for the resident pooch to do her/his business w/o freezing her tush off.
ReplyDeleteThankfully we only had 2" on Friday....Eastern NC got slammed at least for them. One or two cities on the coast had 13"....unheard of.
