Sadie's Presents

Sadie wanted to show you her new presents that she got for her birthday.

She got some homemade sweet potato treats and a few new toys.

My parents live by the Dog.com outlet store, so she got her gifts early.

She really went crazy over this new Wubba friend we found at Dog .com.

Its a Wubba with a fox face.

Sadie says "She loves it!".

And Sadie also said " She can hardly wait to see what Santa Paws brings".

Momo got a Wubba of His Own

Everybody that reads our blog regularly know that one of Sadie favorite toys is her Wubba.

Momo plays a lot with Sadie's Wubba.

Momo even plays with Maxx's cat Wubba that is on a string.

So we got Momo a Wubba of his own.

Momo loved his Wubba, he would pounce on it, toss it up in the air, carry it in his mouth and then pounce on it again.

He had so much fun with he own Wubba.

Sadie and Momo would even trade their Wubbas.

But now its gone, Sadie chewed a little to much on Mo's Wubba and chewed it apart.

Momo Said " But that was my Wubba, it had a bell and some catnip in it."

And Saide said " She was really sorry and Momo can play with her (when she isn't playing with it) until she saves enough of her allowance to buy him a new one."

Still has the New Wubba Smell

Sadie say "I love that new Wubba smell!"

Yes Sadie needed a new Wubba again, she plays so much with her Wubbas that they get all chewed up.

She says she doesn't know how they get chewed, all she does is squeak them when she plays with them.

I was online the other day and found some scary stuff about dog toys containing a lot of dangerous chemicals.

Sadie was relieved to hear her Wubbas are safe though.

Healthystuff.org tested a few dog things for the chemicals, like bed, toys, and tennis balls.

So check this site to see if your toys are safe.

But anyway Sadie found out her Wubba is safe.

So she come up with her new Wubba dance.

And just in case your keeping count of the Wubbas, I think this is number four.

Back to a normal Saturday

Our Saturday was back to normal!

Sadie was eagerly waiting for Jack to arrive at their grandparent's house.

And he came!

Sadie and Jack were so happy to have their Saturday back to normal, that almost the whole day was filled with the sound of little doggie paws running through out the whole house.

They played and then played some more.

Until Sadie got another new Wubba, then Sadie had to take some alone time with it as Jack watch, but Sadie wasn't going to share.

No matter how much Jack gave her a nudge, she wasn't sharing.

( the Wubba doesn't squeak already)

Wubba Udate

Ok, I know I post about the Wubba a lot, but this toy is special to Sadie. If she is up stairs, the Wubba is with her, if she is down stairs the Wubba is with her.

It seems like Sadie is kinda ruff with this toy, but she has it with her chewing on it, or playing a game of chase or tug with it.

Sadie doesn't let the Wubba get to far away, if you look closely at the top left corner, you can see a paw and a little nose. Guess who it is!

It looks like we will be in one of our locale pet stores to replace this one soon. I don't mind though, because Sadie has so much fun with her Wubba.

I'm told all the time that dachshunds tend to have obsessions with balls,( Jack's obsession is a ball) but Sadie's obsession is defiantly her Wubba.

Yah! A New Wubba

Well Sadie got her new WUBBA!!!!!!! She was so excited, she couldn't even wait for me to get it out of the package. Sadie loves playing with wubbas. I buy her the puppy size wubba, because she is a small dog and when I bought the bigger size, she didn't play with it much. Even though this one is a different color (and camo) and isn't yet covered in doggie slobber,she is loving it anyway. She is loving it so much, that she even has a little chew mark on it already!

The Wubba Blues

We have the Wubba blues! First I want to say that Sadie plays with all of her toys even the older ones, but her Wubba is one of her favorite. I had to get rid of her Wubba this week, because she destroyed it. Ever time I would take her Wubba, she would jump up and take it out of my hand. I finally waited until she was in her kennel for the night to get rid of it, but she is still looking for it. So this weekend we are going to Take Sadie shopping for a new Wubba.
