Sadie's Hidden Obsession

Sadie has a hidden obsession, she loves cat toys!
You see we had Maxx before Sadie came to live with us, and of course Maxx had toys.
But Maxx had a special place for her toys.
And now that Momo lives with us, with him being a little kitten, his toys are all over the place.
Sadie says " If there is a toy on the floor it has to be hers."
So Sadie now spends a lot of her time playing with cat toys.
( Her Wubba is still her favorite toy though)
She says " She likes the ones with the bells om them."
Sadie also asks "Why does cat nip have an affect on cats and not on her?"
I tell her because it is for cats, but I really don't know.

Sadie didn't want to tell her dog friends that she plays with cat toys, But I told her they would understand a toy is a toy even if it is made for a cat.
Oh and do you remember when Sadie went shopping for a gift for Momo the night before he came home, Sadie says The toy she bought for Momo is now hers."

  1. Hi, Sadie!
You are right. A toy is a toy even if it is not for dogs!
    Enjoy them!
    Kisses and hugs

  2. Sadie, I agree that cat toys are tons of fun!

  3. Sadie you hold up that beautiful red dachshund head and proudly play with your cat toys!!!
As you know Mom and Dad had a doxie years ago...then came their first cat Milky-Way. Mom said either Milky-Way acted like a dog or Toto acted like a cat because they were very similar!!! Mom says sometimes I follow her around like a dog. If she pats her leg and says come on Madi I do it. HA!!

  4. Sadie Dear, I think you are just doing quality control on Momo's toys. You are being a responsible family member. I hope that Momo appreciates your efforts to keep him safe.

  5. That's so silly, Sadie. But it makes sense... a lot of cat toys are just tiny version of dog toys!

  6. I'm not a fan of cats, but toys with bells sounds pretty cool!

  7. Hi Sadie...looks like the 'Just Say No' strike we cooked up at Ladies Night Out is working!!! Ha Ha Ha!!

  8. What is Madi referring to with the "Just Say No" strike from ladies night? I musta missed something. Anyway, you play with whatever toys you want. I still love you no matter what.
